Welcome to my blog for Freshly Made Sketches #366 which is also a Design Team Call. If you are interested here is the link with more details: http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.
This week's sketch is below:
I choose to use my paper I created with the shaving cream technique which will be described in several blogs this week. Basically white foam shaving cream is put on a paper plate and several drops of various re-inkers are swirled through it. Paper is pulled through and creates an unique marbled design.
I used the May Flowers Framelits to cut out this paper, as well as 3 layers of Lemon Lime Twist paper. When glued together is forms a sturdy chipboard type element.
The floral pieces were cut from Stampin' Up! watercolor paper with various framelits (shown below) and colored wet-on-wet with Bermuda Bay re-inkers.
With more somber colors this could be a perfect sympathy card.
Give this old school technique a try!
If you would like to purchase any of the supplies, my on-line store is available 24/7. Just click on the pictures below to be taken directly there.
