Welcome to my blog post for the NC Demos hop for December! Always a busy time of the year for everyone and this year I worked on swap cards to exchange with my fellow NC Demos. Eleven cards were to be made. 10 to exchange and 1 to keep. The cards also met the hop theme of Sale-A-Bration Celebration!
I am a huge tea fan and I was excited to see the new Tea Together stamp set in the Occasions catalog. The bonus was that I was able to receive the matching framelits FREE (with a $100 purchase) from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. There are 2 levels of free products with Sale-A-Bration - spend $50 or $100, before tax and shipping, and you qualify for 1 free item for each $50 spent or 1 free item with an $100 purchase.
I made 10 cards, 2 of each color using the Gingham Gala designer series paper. The surprise is that the tea cup is a card in itself and opens to reveal a message! Simple fold 6" wide card stock in half, score and run the tea cup framelit with the top off of the edge through the Big Shot.
The coloring was done with Stamp 'n Blend markers - Stampin' Up!'s alcohol markers. They blend beautifully and the rose leaf was the perfect holder to keep the tea cup closed. I also used them to color the epoxy hearts which are packaged clear.
Here is the list of my fellow bloggers...I hope you enjoy the hop!

Welcome
I am a wife of 48 years married to my best friend, Mike. He has always been my biggest supporter. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 wonderful grandchildren. Also, I am a college graduate, still working full time, and trying to squeeze in every crafting moment possible. Working with my hands, whether it is papercrafting, stamping, painting, cross-stitching, zentangling or quilting - brings joy to my life. I love color in all its various forms.
