CAS Mix Up February Challenge

Welcome to my blog post for CAS Mix Up February 2019. The challenge is:
I went with the word "Wish" to use with the Dimensional Die-cuts + stamping and ink blending. I used post-it-tape to block off about a 1 1/2" horizontal area on a landscaped A2 card. Using the Stamparatus, I stamped with Versamark the "Sheet Music" background stamp and sprinkled with white embossing powder. Once heat set, I prepared it for ink-blending:
I used post-it tape again and blocked off both the top and bottom of the sheet music design. Using Stampin' Sponges cut into 6ths (created "handles" with the Circle Tab Punch) I ink blended from right to left: Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Gorgeous Grape creating additional colors where they overlap.

Next I cut out the word "Wish" with the Large Letters Framelits from the card front, as well as, 3 more times from Basic Black cardstock. I glue the letters together with Tombow to create a type of chipboard. The card front was adhered to a Whisper White Thick A2 card base. The letters pieces were glued into the negative spaces.
The sentiments were added so that the card reads "Make A Wish While We Sing You A Song."

I hope you enjoyed this card, Really fun and great for anyone, young or old! To purchase any of these Stampin' Up! products, please click on the links below. Thanks for stopping by!
