Welcome to my blog post for Kylie Bertucci's March Hop. No theme, just use current Stampin' Up! products.
I reached for a stamp set that I had yet to color - "Bright Wishes". It has this beautiful wishing well image which can be used for birthday, sympathy, or just general thinking of you. I want to color with Stampin' Up!'s watercolor pencils on a kraft type card stock. I used Crumb Cake card stock and stamped the image with Memento Black Ink.
I used most of the colors in the watercolor pencil set with a Stampin' Up! Blender Pen to pull the color and blend. I enjoy coloring at night while watching TV with my husband and set aside until I can make a finished card with the image.
To complete the card, I simply layered with Very Vanilla and Mossy Meadow card stock. The sentiment is from the same "Bright Wishes" set white heat embossed on Mossy Meadw and die cut with a "Stitched Labels Framelit". The thread is Old Olive Linen thread from the Occasions Catalog. Let's hope it continues in the new catalog coming out in June 2019!
For the inside, I stamped a partial image just with Mossy Meadow and a sentiment from the "Country Road" set - "Happy Birthday".

Welcome
I am a wife of 48 years married to my best friend, Mike. He has always been my biggest supporter. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 wonderful grandchildren. Also, I am a college graduate, still working full time, and trying to squeeze in every crafting moment possible. Working with my hands, whether it is papercrafting, stamping, painting, cross-stitching, zentangling or quilting - brings joy to my life. I love color in all its various forms.
