Welcome to my blog post for CAS Stencil challenge for March 2019 - Ghosting:
I happened to just watch a You Tube video  by Jennifer McQuire called "Silhouette Stamping". I have to give credit to Jennifer for the inspiration for this card.

I stamped with Memento Black ink the beach chair and drink image from the "Colorful Season" stamp set. I also stamped the book from the "Bike Ride" set. I filled in the image with the Basic Black Stampin' Write marker. Once dry, I stamped the images with Versamark and used Clear Embossing power to set it.

Next, I taped horizontally about a 2" section on Whisper White Thick card stock with Post-It tape. I ink blended Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight again horizontally with Stampin' Sponges.
I made my own stencil with the waves from the Lakeside Framelit using some discontinued card stock.
I dabbed with water through the lines onto the ink blended area of the cards to create wave like lines. I tried a baby wipe, but that didn't work as well as water. This is the "Ghosting" technique to meet the challenge.
The sentiment is from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set and the card would work for many different occasions. The dotted line underneath is from, new to me, "Swirly Frames" set. Looking forward to playing more with that set.
I hope you enjoyed this Clean and Simple card and if you would like to purchase any of the items shown here, please click on the images below. Thanks for sticking to the end!
