Welcome to my blog for What Will You Stamp #210 using the "So Hoppy Together" Sale-A-Bration stamp set. The cute set will only be available until the end of March as a FREE item with $50 purchase. You really don't want to miss them!
I combined this challenge with my Stamping For Others demo group's challenge - to create a shaker card.
The card started with the "Sheet Music" stamp set white embossed in a strip across some Whisper White Thick cardstock. Next I ink blended with Stampin' Sponges a rainbow of colors - Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Highland Heather. I used a stitched square framelit from the "Stitched Shapes Framelit" and cut out a center section to be the background of the shaker card.
I also stamped 3 frogs and a couple of flies with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White card stock. To determine how to color the frogs, I googled "Cartoon Frogs". Kind of cute with their yellow bellies!
This background of this card is very similar to one I did not too long ago. Check it out for details on the ink blending:
I made the shaker parts with Stampin' Up!'s window sheets, foam adhesive strips and iridescent sequins. Used Tombow Liquid Adhesive to glue all the frogs and flies to the front.
I put one of the frogs on the inside too:
Thanks for staying to the end and if you would like to recreate this card and purchase any of these items (only a couple of weeks left for the froggies!) just click on the links below:
