Welcome to my blog post for Kylie Bertucci's International Stampin' Up! Blog for April 2019! Theme of encouragement.
I started with "Shimmery White" card stock and heat embossed with "Copper Embossing Powder" the wheat image from the "Country Road" stamp set. I wanted to ink blend the background to create a dark to light feeling. Using "Stampin' Sponges" cut into 6ths, I started with Pineapple Punch, Daffodil Delight and Real Red and ink blended in a light circular motion from the bottom left corner.
I stamped the border image with Versamark ink and heat embossed with the "Copper Embossing Powder" too. Next, I cut a frame using 2 "Rectangle Stitched Framelits" out of the "Shimmery White" card stock and glued the 2 together with "Tombow Liquid Adhesive".
The sentiment is from the "Rooted in Nature" set stamped with Early Espresso and quickly sprinkled with "Copper Embossing Powder" and heat set. The inside sentiment is from the "Wishing You Well" stamp set and I also stamped the wheat image with Crumb Cake with 2nd generation stamping.
The background is from the "Wood Textures Designer Series Paper" and the frame was popped up with fun foam. Perfect card for a masculine encouragement. Could be used for sympathy, as well.
