#tgifc206 Color Challenge

Welcome friends to a quick blog post for my entry for a TGIFC Color Challenge:
Love these colors! I started by cutting out the largest Delicate Lace Edgelits in masking paper (Inkadinkadoo brand). I placed the mask on a A2 size piece of Whisper White card stock along the edge. Next, I ink-blended the 3 colors with my favorite blending tools, Stampin' Sponges, in a soft circular motion until they were rich in color and softly blended. I sprinkled with water and gently mopped up with a blue shop towel. I then removed the mask. Always an exciting reveal!

Once dried, I ran the piece through the Big Shot with the largest Rectangle Stitched Framelit.
The sentiments are from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set using the Stamparatus and Memento Black Ink. Once stamped, I immediately sprinkled the sentiment with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.
The inside has a few hearts cut from some leftover blended paper with the Dog Builder Punch.
Fun color challenge and I'll have the second card I made with the same piece of ink blended paper tomorrow! Thanks for visiting my blog and if you would like to purchase any of these items here are the links to my Stampin' Up! online store:
