Fab Friday 164 and SFO Team Challenge Week 1

Hi all! When given a challenge, sometimes it is easier to come up with an idea for a design when you combine 2 challenges. For my card today, I wanted to use the lovely colors from the Fab Friday Color challenge#164: Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Foam Green and Pear Pizzazz. My Stampin' Up! upline also sent out a weekly challenge for each week of June. This week's was to use a tool or stamp set which you have not used in a while or at all. So I knew right away what I wanted to do!
I had not used either embossing paste or the Varied Vases in a while. And I hadn't used the Vibrant Vases at all. These colors are so soft and pretty I thought they would look great a vases with flowers.
The embossing paste was spread on Whisper White Thick card stock with a palette knife and left to dry. I was sure to leave a good 1 1/2" without paste towards the bottom so I could stamp the shelf and the sentiment directly to the card. The vases were stamped with the greens and the flowers from Flirty Flamingo. I used the Vases Builder Punch to punch out the vases and fussy cut the flowers. All were adhered either with Stampin' Dimensionals or Tombow Liquid Adhesive. A few sparkly Rhinestone Basic Jewels finished the center of the flowers.
The sentiment "Today blooms just for you" is from another unused, but great set: Perennial Birthday. I though this way the card can be used for various occasions, not just birthday.
The inside sentiment is also from Perennial Birthday and one more vase and stamped flower finished the inside.
