Kylie's International Blog Highlight September 2019

Welcome to my September 2019 post for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. Theme is Encouragement.
I wanted to try the Pigment Sprinkles on Whisper White card stock and not watercolor paper.
Pigment Sprinkles are watercolor pigment crystals in exclusive Stampin' Up! colors. Mix them with water to make watercolor backgrounds and washes, and use them for other watercoloring techniques.

* 6 jars--1 each of 6 colors: Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo
* 6 g each jar
* Acid free

I stamped an image from the Believe You Can host set with Versamark ink and sprinkled with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. It was then heat set with our Heat Tool.
I carefully colored with the Pigment Sprinkles using just a damp brush. Too much water will make the paper pill. Once dry, the image was cut with a Stitched Nested Label Die.

To create the base, I used 1/3 on the top with a piece of Whisper White run through the Big Shot using the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder. Very pretty and delicate. The bottom 2/3rds is a piece of the 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper in the Brights family-Mango Melody. I cut a thin piece of the Gold Foil sheets and adhered it between the two. Lastly, the floral image was popped up onto the card centering it over the gold stripe.

This is a contest where you can vote for me! The top ten will be invited to participate in a separate blog hop at the end of September.
