MFT New Best Friends with Anything Goes Challenge O2319

I found a fun, new card challenge blog for a company called Repeat Impressions from Freeport, ME. The challenge is open to anyone with any style or stamp company. Always fun to play along and meet some new friends!

My card was made with My Favorite Things stamp set called New Best Friends. I started with Fabriano Watercolor Paper and watercolored the images with Arteza Watercolor Real Brush Markers. Once colored, I used my Brother Scan 'n Cut to cut out all the images and choose to leave no white border.

The background was created with Neenah Solar White using the MFT Staggered Paw Prints stencil and a gentle blending using Scrapbook.com's Fog ink. This gave a subtle something- something in the background. Next the panel was run through the Big Shot using one of the Kat Scrappiness Cross Stitched Rectangles. I loved it!

The sentiment is from My Favorite Things More Essential Sentiments. I used Brutus Monroe's Ultra Fine Sterling Embossing Power on MFT Black Licorice paper. I really liked how the silver embossing powder performed and want to try more of this brand! I am always on the hunt for the perfect embossing powder and this one is the best so far. I cut the work bubble mostly by hand.
