Pretty Pink Posh Winter Wreath for The Card Concept 123

Welcome friends...I am so glad you stopped by to check out this card I created for The Card Concept 123 challenge:
Isn't this picture just beautiful! The colors are what drew me in...turquoise, reds, oranges, yellow and black gingham. This challenge is a little different from others, for you pick a style and use inspiration from the picture to define your style:
The styles are divided into seven style themes:
  • Clean & Simple (CAS)
  • Clean & Layered
  • Clean & Graphic
  • Freestyle Collage
  • Shabby Chic
  • Classy & Elegant
  • Mixed Media

I was definitely inspired by the colors and I believe my card is closest to "Clean and Layered:
Definition:
  • clean lines
  • lots of layers
  • designer papers/embossing
  • embellishments/accents
  • clean and fresh looking
  • some colored images at times
  • white space
I started with my Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush makers: 2 blues, 2 yellows, 2 reds and 2 oranges. I stamped the wreath and floral images from Pretty Pink Posh's Winter Wreath stamp set onto Bristol Smooth Paper with my Scrapbook.com Hybrid Black Ink. I used a Silver Black Velvet #6 brush and my collapsible travel cup to color during my lunch hour. Back home, I cut out with the images with the coordinating die.

I do have the Brother Scan 'n Cut, but I usually will buy the coordinating die when it cuts a center part out or in between arms, etc. I haven't mastered that yet on the Scan 'n Cut!

I stamped Right at Home's Gingham Background stamp with Scrapbook.com's Black Dye Ink onto Neenah Solar 110 lb. card stock and cut it with the largest of Jillian Vance's Basic Rectangle Backdrop Die. Next, I stamped the "Christmas Greetings" sentiment using my MISTI right in the center of what would be the wreath.

Then this card became an inlay puzzle. The wreath just fit right in the opening. Everything was adhered with Tombow Liquid Adhesive or Gina K Connect glue. Whatever was closest for me to grab! I love them both.

Lastly the flower was adhered to a scrap of ribbon I had that matched with glue dots and popped up with a Scrapbook.com small round foam adhesive. I little Zig Wink of Stella was painted onto most of the floral images and finished with Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
The inside is a sentiment from Scrapbook.com "Holly Jolly Sentiments" set. If you are looking for a great all-around Christmas sentiment set to have on hand, this is it. 30 stamps, including the cutest little reindeer:
I've used it many times this season and it's a classic.
