The Card Concept#133 with Taylored Expressions

Welcome! As I am writing this we are working from our homes and social distancing. I feel that we could all use a little springtime cheer up! Perfect time to play along with The Card Concept Challenge:
Such a beautiful floral image. I was inspired by the colors and wanted to create a similar feel using Taylored Expressions Bloomin' Background:
I am going to have to say this is Mixed media style. I used Wendy Vecchi's Archival Ink in Potty Soil to stamp the background onto Spectrum Noir's Ultra Smooth Premium White card stock. Works beautifully for alcohol markers. I used a variety of alcohol markers I have in my stash - the ones that best fit the color profile: Spectrum Noir, Stamp 'n Blends from Stampin' Up! and a few Copics.
Once I finished coloring I went over all the lines with the Gelly Roll Stardust Clear Glittering Gel Ink. It really adds such a nice subtle shine to the card. I tried to capture it in the picture.
The sentiment is a simple, yet elegant one from Brutus Monroe's Sharon's Script - Hello. A set which I have used many times. I finished the card with Doodlebug Designs mini pearls in Baby Girl.
I ended making 2 cards. The second card has a different color profile and not quite what I wanted to achieve, but I do like it. This was finished with a sentiment from My Favorite Things Birthday Greetings, again from my stash.
Such a great stamp to use for a card - all the design work is done for you. It would be great even in black and white, or just a few flowers colored. But whatever you use, I hope you play along with our challenge! Be well, my friends.
