AECP Level 2 In The Mood For Color

Hello friends! I am on my second class for Level 2 of my AECP certification. This class is called:
Stephanie Klauck, the instructor, has 6 classes, all based on a color or the feeling the color brings. I started with the Persian Motifs stamp set for an all over floral card front. I felt blue would give that calm feeling I wanted to convey.
I stamped with Versamark ink on Altenew's A2 sized pre-cut Water Color Paper and heat embossed with Altenew's White Embossing Powder. I used Altenew's Watercolor Brush Markers Sea Breeze to paint the floral images in a monochromatic pallet. I just drip the ink onto a pallet and color with my Silver Black Velvet #8 brush. I has a nice sharp point to get into the corners and flick up!
Stephanie talked about the mood of a color can be applied to cards. I felt this blue was calming, uplifting and bright. To create some interest in the front panel, I cut the border with Pretty Pink Posh's Stitched Border 1. It gives a nice gentle curve. I backed it with Black Licorice card stock from MFT and adhered the cut piece from the original back onto the front.

I decided to go with a generic Congratulations sentiment and left the inside blank for now. Stefanie used embellishments on all her cards for that "Wow" factor. I used Studio Katia's Icy Sparkly Crystals here and there for a little bling.

Thank you for stopping by today and staying with me on my AECP Certification journey!
