Slimline Card with Kat Scrappiness & Altenew

Hi friends! Thank you for visiting today for a Labor Day post joining 2 challenges: NBUS (Never-Before-Used-Schtuff) and Creative Fingers Challenge Blog (Anything Goes):

I made the background with Altenew's Poppy Garden set using the embossed resist technique. The paper is Arches Watercolor 140 lb. cold press and the inks are from Altenew's Watercolor markers. For more information on the process check out my blog here.
To create the beautiful slimline cityscape I used Kat Scrappiness' Slimline Layered Cityscape Die (my NBUS) to cut out the panel:
If you are reading this over the Labor Day Weekend 2020 Kat Scrappiness is having a sale, too! Their store branded products are wonderful...I use their layering dies very frequently and can highly recommend them.

Basically once the background was completed, this was an easy card to put together. I used Trinity Stamps Stitched Card Panels and Windows to create the white card base layer:
I used liquid adhesive to adhere the cityscape panel, but first I stamped the sentiment from Impression Obsession: Home Is Where by Kalani Allred:
I've used this stamp set quite a bit and it is half price right now! I have made framed home decor with it, as well.
The inside is a simple sentiment which comes from Honey Bee Stamps called MR AND MRS:
Although it is a 4" X 4" stamp the sentiments are large and fit across a slimline card very well with room to write a personal note. Honey Bee is also having a sale this weekend! Great products...I love their farmhouse style.

The pretty pink envelope also comes from a set I bought from Trinity Stamps of multi colored slimline envelopes. Here is the US - it is only 1 stamp to mail a slimline card, as long as it is under 1 oz. - they are business sized #10 envelopes.
Since I know several people moving at this time, this card will come in handy and hopefully be a nice surprise for them. I hope you've enjoyed my post and can take advantage of some of the sales this weekend!
