Hi friends! I am playing with a new challenge today from Simon Says Stamp. It's their Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes but the sponsor is Stampendous, so those are basically the products I am using today.
You may recognize Stampendous' Winter Chickadee. I've made several cards with it and love the vintage feel of the card that I get when using Stampendous Cling Christmas Background with it. The chickadee is stamped in Black Ink onto Ranger Watercolor Paper, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then masked using Gina K. Masking Paper. Once it is masked, I stamped the Christmas Background over it with a light camel color.
I watercolored the image with Altenew's 36 Half Pan set. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Simple Strips - Christmas. Vintage is not my usual style, but I really love it!

Welcome

I am a wife of 48 years married to my best friend, Mike. He has always been my biggest supporter. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 wonderful grandchildren. Also, I am a college graduate, still working full time, and trying to squeeze in every crafting moment possible. Working with my hands, whether it is papercrafting, stamping, painting, cross-stitching, zentangling or quilting - brings joy to my life. I love color in all its various forms.
