The Paper Funday Feb 2022

Hi friends it's February and another fun Paper Funday Challenge is starting.
Our sponsors this month are Polkadoodles and All Dressed Up. I choose an image from All Dressed Ups' Etsy Shop called Happy Valentines:
I printed this image with my Brother Laser Printer onto Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper. If you follow me you will see that I almost always use this paper. Why? Many reasons - it is bright white and not the yellowish color that most watercolor paper has. Also, it feeds well through my printer on manual feed, it's standard paper size so I don't have to cut it to run through my printer and I can choose between the smooth side and the rough side.  Lastly it watercolors well. You can oversaturated it, but I've haven't had any problem with it. I save every little bit after I cut out the digital image for future stamped images.
I watercolored the image with my Kuretake Zigs Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Basically yellow, pinks, red and green. I always try to leave white on my coloring for that bit of sparkle!

I decided to cut it out with a heart shape in my stash and make it a shaped card. I cut a second piece out of white and scored it about 1" from the top:
Then it is just the matter of gluing the 2 pieces together at the top and you have a heart shaped card! And it fits perfectly in an A2 envelope.
Thanks so much for joining me today and come play along with us - Anything Goes!
