More Father's Day cards! Yes, once I get started it's hard to stop creating with the stencils from:
Today I wanted to use this stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called Floating Blocks:
I made 2 cards (big surprise!) both with the same background, just different sized fish on the cover:
I created the background by ink blending a few Distress Oxides onto Bristol Smooth card stock: Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans through the Floating Blocks stencil.
Then I ran the ink blended panels through a Pink and Main embossing folder called: Catch A Wave.
And viola! A cool background with lots of movement for the fish!
The fish are stamped from Jessica Lynn Original set called Fishing on Phantom Lake watercolored and fussy cut.
Really has such great movement!
The outside sentiment strip is from Taylored Expressions Mini Strips called You're the Best.
Here is the coordinating die - cuts them all out at once!
The inside sentiment is from Waffle Flower's Home Brew Stamp Set:
