52CCT Guest Designer

I am very pleased to have been picked at Guest Designer at Christmas Card Throwdown with a Theme Challenge of:
Vintage cards are a bit of a struggle for me. I looked through my stash of previously colored work and saw this Art Impression's image: Christmas Drive Window - I thought what is more vintage than an old 1950's truck?
To create the background I stamped Hero Arts Noel Print Bold Prints onto a  panel of Bristol Smooth Paper with Versamark Ink. Next, I sprinkled Nuvo Detail Glacier White Embossing Powder over all of it and heat set.
I ink blended Ranger Ink's Distress Ink Rustic Wilderness over the card and gently wiped of the white embossed letter. This is such a great Christmas color!
My final step was to cut a square in the front panel a little smaller than the image.
I ran a Versamarker Watermark Pen around the inside of the square and slightly on the outside and sprinkled with Ranger Ink's Princess Gold Embossing Powder.
This part was the happy accident. Since the panel was not completely dry, the gold adhered randomly across the panel. In the photos is appears as black, but it is gold and really pretty in real life. Wink of Stella on the snow and a few Spellbinder's Fashion Gold Embellishments to finish off!

Here is my winning card from the May 2022 Color Challenge red, green and brown:
Thank you for joining me and to 52CCT for inviting me to guest design! Come play along, you'll have some fun and have some Christmas Cards ready early, too!!!
