A Colorful Life Designs' October release is up and ready for sale! I have samples here from just some of the amazing offerings available. These samples are fall themed.
There is a complete bundle available for 20% off, or if you don't have full set syndrome use my code: AnitaFan10 for 10% off your entire order (excluding bundles).
For the Oak Elements Stencil I used it 3 ways - all 3 parts of the stencil with ink blending:
The sentiment is from Stampendous Fran's Cling Rubber Stamp called Fat Pants - I believe it is discontinued. I used the top part of the Oak Elements Stencil for the top and bottom of my 5" X 7" card. I ink blended with Ranger Ink's Distress Inks in fall colors: Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire, Brushed Corduroy, Crushed Olive and Candied Apple. I did watercolor the images with the same Distress Inks I used for ink blending- just smooshed onto a palette and pick up with my watercolor brush.
For the next card below I used the center of the Oak Elements Stencil, the same Distress Inks and a couple of sentiments from Altenew's With Gratitude Stamp Set on brown card stock. Gold splatter for the win!
Lastly, I made 3 tags using the bottom part of the Oak Elements Stencil. For the tags, I used more "Christmassy" colors, again ink blended with Distress Inks in greens and browns.
For the wreath card I used the Leaf Frame Stencil:
The Leaf Frame Stencil was ink blended with again various Ranger Distress Inks in fall colors: Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire and Candied Apple. The sentiment is a new CZ Design from Simon Says Stamp called Sassy Thankful. I felt it needed a bow and I used the bow from Sizzix Thinlit Die Wreath & Snowflake by Tim Holtz (On sale for $3.75 at this writing!).
The next two cards are with Mega Flower Stencil:
I love a good rainbow and when I can't think of an idea, I usually start with rainbow colors. In this case, I used Ranger Ink's Distress Oxides colors: Wilted Violet, Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers. The sentiment is from a retired W Plus 9 set called Southern Sentiments. I always use Altenew's Obsidian Black Ink for stamping - it is the darkest I have found.
This is a big design and fits very well in a square card. I used a Distress Ink - one of the blues and stamped over it with a darker blue on this card below. I used MFT Stamps Happy Birthday Background. Ranger's Simon Hurley Slipper When Wet Lunar Paste is used in the center dots.
Now we come to the Big Oak Stencil:
I used the same Distress Inks in Fall colors and the CZ Designs Sassy Thankful stamp and die set.
Such fun sentiments!

Welcome
I am a wife of 48 years married to my best friend, Mike. He has always been my biggest supporter. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 wonderful grandchildren. Also, I am a college graduate, still working full time, and trying to squeeze in every crafting moment possible. Working with my hands, whether it is papercrafting, stamping, painting, cross-stitching, zentangling or quilting - brings joy to my life. I love color in all its various forms.
